Local product and Sounders fan favorite, Lamar Neagle joins the podcast to share his thoughts on the music that influenced his life and career.

A lesson in perseverance, Neagle was cut from his local youth team twice, nearly missed out on college soccer altogether and battled through the minor leagues before breaking into the MLS. Through it all, he emerged as a mainstay on the Sounders, playing a critical role in their Supporters’ Shield run.

From perfecting his drip as a kid in Federal Way while listening Nelly’s “Air Force Ones” to finding confidence as a pro with the help of Young Jeezy’s “Me OK,” Lamar discusses the music that shaped his path to U.S. soccer’s biggest stage.
